terms of use

before launch
Replace the contact and governing-jurisdiction placeholders before public launch. These terms should be reviewed by counsel for your operating entity and jurisdiction.
Acceptance
By accessing or using MonkeMeetups, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use MonkeMeetups for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
The service
MonkeMeetups provides community discovery and coordination tools for Saga Monke holders, including wallet verification, public profiles, meetup listings, RSVPs, optional check-in, calendar exports, travel status, and host collaboration tools. The service is not an event organizer, travel provider, payment processor, custodian, ticket seller, escrow provider, or safety service.
Wallets and signatures
Wallet verification and signed messages are used to confirm control of a public wallet and authorize a requested action. They are not blockchain transactions and do not transfer assets. Never provide your seed phrase or private key. You are responsible for the wallet you connect and for reviewing any wallet prompt before signing.
Meetups and participant safety
Hosts are solely responsible for their meetup, venue, logistics, permits, capacity, communications, and compliance with applicable laws. Attendees are solely responsible for deciding whether to attend and for their conduct. MonkeMeetups does not verify hosts, attendees, venues, addresses, or event details and does not guarantee attendance, safety, quality, or availability. In an emergency, contact local emergency services rather than relying on the service.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant MonkeMeetups a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format, distribute, and otherwise use that content only to operate, promote, secure, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit it and that it does not violate another person's rights, privacy, or applicable law.
Acceptable use
- Do not submit unlawful, deceptive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, or infringing content.
- Do not publish another person's private address, personal data, wallet credentials, or private event logistics without authorization.
- Do not impersonate another person, evade wallet verification, automate abuse, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not use MonkeMeetups to solicit unlawful activity, sell regulated products or services, conduct financial scams, or distribute malware.
Moderation and availability
We may review, refuse, edit, remove, suspend, or preserve content and access where we reasonably believe it is necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or enforcement of these terms. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Repository-backed moderation may cause approved changes to take time to appear on the live site.
Third-party services
MonkeMeetups may link to or rely on third-party services, venues, maps, wallets, social platforms, calendar clients, and online meeting providers. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services or for transactions or interactions that occur outside MonkeMeetups.
Disclaimers and liability
MonkeMeetups is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MonkeMeetups and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss arising from meetups, travel, third-party services, wallet use, data loss, or unauthorized access.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MonkeMeetups and its operators from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your meetup, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of [INSERT GOVERNING JURISDICTION BEFORE LAUNCH], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
