What this covers

MonkeMeetups helps Saga Monke holders create profiles, discover and host meetups, RSVP, manage attendance, and share broad travel status. This policy explains what information the service handles and the choices available to you.

Information we handle

  • Wallet and verification data. Your public wallet address, selected Saga Monke, and signed-message proof used to verify holder ownership. We never ask for, receive, or store your seed phrase or private key.
  • Profile and location data. Display name, bio, public links, avatar selection, and the broad city, state/region, country, and map pin you choose to publish.
  • Meetup data. Event details, cover art, descriptions, capacity, co-hosts, RSVPs, waitlist state, check-ins, and host updates. A host may add private logistics such as an exact address or online link; those are intended to be visible only to eligible RSVPed attendees and the host team.
  • Travel and passport data. Trip city, dates, visibility selection, optional nearby-alert radius, and attendance or travel history shown in a passport.
  • Technical data. Standard request logs and security data such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, rate-limit records, session cookies, and local browser storage used for session and notification preferences.
  • Feedback. Information you submit through alpha feedback, including optional contact details, screenshots, and page context.

How we use information

  • Verify holder ownership and protect against fraudulent submissions.
  • Publish the profile, meetup, and travel information you choose to make visible.
  • Operate RSVPs, waitlists, reminders, attendee check-in, notifications, and host tools.
  • Moderate submissions, investigate abuse, secure the service, and improve the product.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.

Public, holder-only, and private information

Profiles, event information, and map pins may be public when you choose to publish them. Passport and travel visibility controls determine who can see those records. Exact event addresses and restricted online links are not intended to be public; hosts should only add information they are authorized to share. Do not include sensitive personal information in public profile, event, or feedback fields.

Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to host and operate MonkeMeetups. Depending on enabled features, this includes Vercel for hosting, GitHub for moderated submission records and repository publishing, Supabase for RSVP and notification state, Helius or another Solana RPC provider for wallet and ownership checks, and Carto/MapLibre for map tiles. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect people or the service, or in connection with a business transfer.

We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and maintain security records. Public submissions may be retained in repository history or moderation records even after they are removed from the live site. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify wallet control before fulfilling a request and may retain limited records where legally required or necessary for security.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including signed wallet proofs and access controls. No online system is completely secure. Never share your seed phrase, private key, or wallet recovery information with anyone claiming to represent MonkeMeetups.

International users

MonkeMeetups may process information in countries other than where you live. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries, subject to applicable law.
